Pune: CMA Nilesh Kekan was elected as Chairman of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) Pune Chapter. A new executive committee has been announced for the years 2024–2025. The newly elected chairman, CMA Kekan, took over from the outgoing chairman CMA Nagesh Bhagane.
CMA Shrikant Ippalapalli has been elected as a Vice Chairman, CMA Rahul Chicholkar as a Secretary, and CMA Himanshu Dave as a Treasurer in the newly elected committee. The management committee includes CMA Nagesh Bhagane, CMA Amey Takale, CMA Tanuja Mantrawadi, CMA Anuja Dabhade, CMA Nikhil Agrawal, and Jaydeep Mane Deshmukh as student representatives.
CMA Nilesh Kekan expressed his gratitude to all the members for electing him as chairman of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India Pune Chapter. He said that our first vision is to create awareness about our CMA course among the students, increase the students’s enrolment in the CMA course, and provide our qualified students with better job opportunities through campus placement. For members, we will arrange value-added sessions and workshops on new areas for practicing cost accountants like IP, RV, inventory audit, social audit, etc.
On this occasion, former president CMA Amit Apte, senior members CMA Dr. Sanjay Bhargve, CMA Dr. N. K. Nimkar, CMA Abhay Deodhar, CMA Pramod Dubey, CMA Prasad Joshi, CMA Meena Vaidya, and all members of the organization congratulated the newly elected office bearers. CMA Srikanth Ippalpalli, CMA Rahul Chincholkar, and CMA Himanshu Dave also expressed their happiness on this occasion, expressing their happiness over the selection.
