Kota. Reacting to the cancellation of the NEET examination, Nitin Kukreja, CEO of ALLEN Career Institute, said that the situation is extremely unfortunate. Transparency and credibility are essential for any national-level examination, as such incidents affect the trust of millions of students and parents.

In the event of the NEET examination being cancelled, ALLEN stands firmly with the students who are facing the challenge of a re-examination. We understand that this is a mentally and academically challenging time for students. In such circumstances, students should stay away from all kinds of rumours, confusion, and unnecessary distractions, and focus on their preparation with complete positivity. This is not a time to feel discouraged, but rather an opportunity to improve performance further. To ensure that students’ preparation is not affected, their confidence remains intact, and they continue moving towards their goals, ALLEN will provide every possible academic support, guidance, and assistance.

Nitin Kukreja said that to prevent such situations in the future, strong technology-based systems need to be adopted. He suggested that, like JEE, the NEET examination should also be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, which can significantly reduce the chances of paper leaks and other irregularities.

He further said that NEET should also be conducted in two phases, similar to JEE Main and Advanced. Just as JEE Main is conducted in two sessions, implementing a similar system in NEET would help reduce examination stress among students and provide them a better opportunity to perform.
According to him, this would allow a better assessment of candidates’ academic abilities and provide deserving and hardworking students with a fairer opportunity to secure admission to the country’s top medical colleges. At the same time, the entire admission process would become more organised, transparent, and credible.
