Pune eves down Amravati, enter QF

PUNE, 2^nd June 2024: Pune opened their challenge with a one-sided 13-0 win over Amravati and stormed into the quarterfinals of the Western India Football Association (WIFA) Inter District Football Championship Junior Girls at Boisar, Palghar on Sunday.

On Days of the championship, Pune had six scorers account for the final scoreline of which three players Yashika Tejwani (1^st, 10^th, 15^th), Sheen Sharma (5^th, 20^th, 23^rd) and Ipshita Gawari (21^st, 29^th, 45^th) net three goals each.

The other scorers of the day were vice-captain Tejaswini Thappa (17^th, 21^st) who netted a brace and a goal each by Diya Sherry (13^th) and Keyaa Telang (17^th).
