PUNE: Maharashtra Education Society, Vivek Prakashan, and Vigyan Bharti Paschim Maharashtra are collaborating to honor the late Jayant Sahasrabuddhe with the ‘Jayanta Smriti’ lecture and a book release program on April 17th at 5.30 pm at the MES Auditorium in Mayur Colony, Kothrud.
Internationally renowned scientist Padma Vibhushan Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar will deliver a lecture on ‘Strategic and Scientific Action for India 2047’. The event will also include the release of the scientific book ‘Isrochi Vismayjanak Avkashyatra’ authored by Dr. Suresh Naik, former president of Vigyan Bharati Pachim Maharashtra and group director for ISRO. Father of Supercomputer Dr. Vijay Bhatkar will grace the occasion, and Air Marshal Bhushan Gokhale (retd) will preside over the program.
Dr. Mansi Malgaonkar from the organizing committee informed that there will be an appreciation ceremony for the winning students of Pune district in the Vidyarthi Vidyan Manthan examination. Also, Dr. Yogesh Shouche, President of Vigyan Bharti West Maharashtra, Babasaheb Shinde, Chairman of the Governing body of Maharashtra Education Society, and Sheetal Khot of Vivek Prakashan, among others, will be present.
