“Victory of Truth”; But Complete Justice Only When  the Conspirators Are Punished! –  Abhay Vartak, Spokesperson, Sanatan Sanstha

In the 2008 Malegaon bomb blast case, the Special NIA Court today acquitted Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, Colonel Prasad Purohit, Major Ramesh Upadhyay, Sameer Kulkarni and other Hindu nationalist individuals. With this verdict, once again, truth has triumphed in the temple of justice. It is a victory of righteousness and a historic moment for the Hindu society. Sanatan Sanstha wholeheartedly congratulates all these innocent and patriotic individuals.

This verdict not only ends years of grave injustice, but also exposes the falsity of the fabricated narrative of “Hindu terrorism”. Though the accused have been acquitted, true justice will only be served when those who fabricated evidence, falsely implicated nationalists, and committed inhuman atrocities, particularly on Sadhvi Pragya and others  are punished. These conspirators must face legal consequences, demanded Abhay Vartak, National Spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha, following the court’s judgment.

Mr. Vartak further stated that the acquitted Hindus had to unjustly suffer long years of imprisonment under the burden of false accusations like “Saffron Terror” and “Hindu Terrorism”. The investigation at that time was heavily biased and politically motivated. Senior police officers, notably Param Bir Singh, fabricated false evidence under political pressure to falsely implicate innocent individuals. Simultaneously, Congress leaders like Digvijay Singh, P. Chidambaram, and Sushilkumar Shinde propagated the term “Saffron Terror” to malign the image of Hindus.

He also recalled that in 2009, the Congress had similarly conspired to falsely implicate Sanatan Sanstha seekers in the Margao bomb blast case. all of whom were acquitted by the Hon’ble Court in 2013. Similarly, those implicated in 2008 have finally been acquitted after 17 long years. “The Congress committed the grave sin of branding Hindus as terrorists, but the goddess of justice has ultimately upheld the dignity of Hindus,” concluded Mr. Vartak.
