Chhattisgarh CM Vishnudev Sai: “Strict Anti-Conversion Law to Be Introduced in Upcoming Assembly”

Raipur – A grand Hindu Rashtra Adhiveshan was successfully organized at Pujya Shadani Darbar Teerth, Raipur, jointly by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and the Shadani Darbar Teerth. More than 250 representatives from Hindu organizations across Chhattisgarh, saints, social leaders, lawyers, businessmen, and political dignitaries took part in the event.

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Mr. Vishnudev Sai, addressing the gathering, said, “The state government is committed to tackling the growing issue of religious conversions. A stringent anti-conversion law will be tabled in the upcoming assembly session. We are also determined to eliminate the Naxalite threat completely.”

Presence of Saints and Scholars – Strong Advocacy for a Hindu Rashtra : Spiritual dignitaries like Pujya Yudhishthirlal Maharaj, Pujya Rambalakdas Maharaj, Mahamandaleshwar Sarveshwardas Maharaj, Mr. Prabal Pratap Singh Judev, Pujya Vedprakashacharya Maharaj, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s state coordinator Mr. Sunil Ghanwat, Sanatan Sanstha’s Pujya Ashok Patrikar, and the great-grandson of Veer Savarkar Mr. Ranjit Savarkar shared their views in the Adhiveshan.

Mr. Sunil Ghanwat stated , “Though rural Naxalism is declining in Chhattisgarh, Urban Naxalism is still active and dangerous. The forces involved in conversions and Naxal ideology are the same. We need a stringent anti-conversion law and its strict enforcement. Issues like Love Jihad, Cow Slaughter, and Halal Jihad demand a permanent solution, and the declaration of India as a Hindu Rashtra is the only way forward.”

Push for Ghar Wapsi and Demand for Delisting Law : Mr. Prabal Pratap Singh Judev remarked, “Sanatan Rashtra Shankhanad Mahotsaw held in Goa was highly inspiring. We will now begin Ghar Wapsi activities in Bastar. To expose ‘pseudo-Hindus’, a delisting law must be enacted.” Citing his father late Dilip Singh Judev, he said, “It is the Rajdharma of every ruler to protect the faith and culture of their people.”

Ranjit Savarkar Felicitated – Promotion of “Om Certificate” Movement: Mr. Ranjit Savarkar, President of the Swatantryaveer Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak, was felicitated during the event. Pujya Ashok Patrikar presented him with a framed image of Lord Krishna. Mr. Savarkar spoke about his campaign in Maharashtra against Halal certification and the introduction of the alternative ‘Om Certificate’. He also called for its adoption in Chhattisgarh.

A panel discussion on the topic “Need for Anti-Conversion Law” was held, where Mr. Sunil Ghanwat, senior journalist Yogesh Mishra, former IG Sushil Dwivedi, advocate Ashish Sharma, and Mr. Kamal Biswal addressed key concerns and answered questions from the attendees. All speakers affirmed their continued efforts until the law is enacted.

The conclave also featured exhibitions on religious education, spiritual texts, Ayurveda, and national security literature. Special efforts by Mr. Ashish Parida, Mr. Rohit Singh, and Mr. Kamal Biswal helped ensure the success of the event.
