New engines, advanced technology, 5-inch TFT console, ride modes and Crawl Tech enhance the riding experience
Pune, August 24, 2026: Bajaj Auto Ltd., one of the world’s leading two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturers, has unveiled the all-new Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 125 to mark 25 years of the Pulsar brand. The latest models retain the iconic Pulsar DNA of performance, attitude and distinctive styling while introducing new engineering, technology and features designed for modern riders.
Since its launch in 2001, Pulsar has played a significant role in shaping India’s performance motorcycle segment. Over the past 25 years, the brand has transformed the perception of motorcycles from being merely a means of daily transportation to becoming a symbol of performance, technology and individuality.
With more than 20 million Pulsar motorcycles sold across over 40 countries, the brand has established itself as one of the most recognised performance motorcycle names globally.
The new Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 125 retain the characteristics that have defined the brand over the years, including the muscular fuel tank, distinctive engine note, aggressive styling, strong road presence and quick acceleration. At the same time, Bajaj Auto has extensively upgraded the motorcycles in terms of engineering, technology, chassis and features.
All-new engines and gearbox
Both motorcycles feature completely new engines and gearboxes. For the first time in this segment, PVD piston rings have been introduced, helping reduce friction, improve engine durability and enhance NVH performance.
The Pulsar 150 is powered by a 149.5cc engine producing 14 PS at 8,500 rpm and 13.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
The Pulsar 125, powered by a 124.58cc engine, delivers 12 PS at 8,000 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, positioning it as one of the most powerful motorcycles in the 125cc segment.
An improved power-to-weight ratio enables quicker acceleration from 0-60 km/h, while the new gearbox provides stronger tractive effort at lower gears, resulting in improved low-speed performance.
New diamond-type frame
The motorcycles feature a new, stronger diamond-type frame designed to provide better control and stability. The engine has also been integrated as a structural element of the frame, contributing to improved overall rigidity and riding dynamics.
New monoshock suspension
The new Pulsar models come equipped with a nitrogen gas-charged emulsion-type monoshock suspension. The setup is designed to offer a sportier riding experience, greater stability on straight roads and improved control while cornering.
New 5-inch TFT console with Google Maps
A new 5-inch TFT console is among the key highlights of the motorcycles. It supports Google Maps mirroring and navigation, making everyday riding more convenient.
The console also allows riders to store important vehicle documents such as the RC and insurance details. Live call and message alerts, along with music controls, further enhance the connected riding experience.
Three ride modes and Crawl Tech
The new Pulsar introduces three ride modes — Road, Rain and Sport — allowing riders to adapt the motorcycle’s characteristics to different riding conditions.
The motorcycles also feature Crawl Tech, designed to provide improved control and easier riding in slow-moving traffic. The technology aims to make navigating congested roads more comfortable and controlled.
New Wolf-Eye LED headlamp
The new Wolf-Eye LED headlamp gives the motorcycles a sharper and more aggressive appearance. Its larger optics are designed to provide enhanced illumination.
The top variant of the Pulsar 150 offers a wider and more intense light spread, further improving visibility during night riding.
ISG with automatic start-stop
The top three variants of the Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 125 are equipped with an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG). The automatic start-stop function helps improve fuel efficiency, while the simplified mechanical arrangement contributes to a smoother and more convenient riding experience.
‘Definitely Daring’ DNA retained
Commenting on the launch, Sarang Kanade, Chief Business Officer – Two-Wheeler Business Unit, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said that Pulsar has evolved beyond being just a motorcycle over the past 25 years.
According to him, the muscular tank, distinctive engine sound, thrill of acceleration and unmistakable attitude have become defining characteristics of the Pulsar brand. While retaining these signature elements, the new Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 125 have been re-engineered with modern technology to meet the expectations of today’s riders.
Launch prices
The new Pulsar 150 is priced at ₹1,15,233, while the Pulsar 125 is priced at ₹92,900 as special launch prices. Both prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
With a combination of 25 years of brand heritage, new-age technology and upgraded performance, the new Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 125 aim to further strengthen Bajaj Auto’s presence in India’s competitive sports motorcycle segment.
