Pratik Gangane Honored with ‘Adarsh Patrakar’ Award

Pune: city based journalist Pratik Gangane, known for his consistent and socially responsible reporting, was honored with the ‘Adarsh Patrakar’ award on behalf of the Sandhya Parivar.

The award was presented by Bhumata Brigade, president and social activist Trupti Desai and former mayor, as well as corporator Prashant Jagtap, who felicitated him with a memento and a bouquet. Jyoti Naale was also present on the occasion.

Speaking at the event, Trupti Desai said, “Journalism is the fourth pillar of democracy. Pratik Gangane has set an example of fearless and responsible journalism and has consistently highlighted the issues of the underprivileged and common citizens.”

Prashant Jagtap also appreciated Gangane’s work, stating, “Positive journalism plays an important role in guiding society. Gangane has effectively brought attention to development works, civic issues, and various social concerns.”

Accepting the honor, Pratik Gangane expressed gratitude and said, “This award is a source of inspiration for me. I will continue to raise social issues and strive to be the voice of the people.”
