Monthly Meeting of Hindu Spiritual Service Organization Held in Pune

Pune, 12 September – The monthly meeting of the Hindu Spiritual Service Organization was held in the presence of Pune Metropolitan Regional Chief Shri Ravindra Wanjarawadkar and under the chairmanship of the organization’s president Shri Krishnakumar Goyal. The event was attended by heads and prominent officials of various monasteries and temples in Pune city, along with other dignitaries.

At the beginning of the meeting, Maheshrao Suryavanshi, Treasurer of the famous Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple, was felicitated. The organization’s General Secretary, Shri Kishore Yenpure, was also present on this occasion.

A detailed discussion was held regarding the recently conducted All-India meeting in Indore. The upcoming events and activities were also deliberated in connection with monasteries and temples, schools, colleges, women’s groups, administrative departments, and youth divisions.

During the meeting, a special felicitation was conducted by the president, Shri Krishnakumar Goyal, in honor of Pune Metropolitan Regional Chief Shri Ravindra Wanjarawadkar. In his presidential address, Shri Goyal expressed, “With the cooperation of all members, the organization’s work will reach across the world and gain respect in society.”

In his concluding remarks, Shri Wanjarawadkar, while inspiring the attendees, said, “On the occasion of the centenary of the organization, all monasteries and temples should take a pledge that no one in India will remain in sorrow, untouchability will be eradicated, family systems will be strengthened, and every citizen will place religion and the nation above all.”

Among the dignitaries present were Trustee Shri Radheshyam Agrawal of the Swaminarayan Organization, Vice Principal D. D. Kumbhar of Fergusson College, Anupama Tai Darak from Shegaon, Advocate Kirti Kolhatkar from the charitable sector, Siddhesh Kamble of Ganganath Maharaj Trust, Ashok Sheth Rukari, Trustee of Shiv Mandir, Rajan Babu, Trustee of Ayyappa Swami, Nimish Nair, Trustee of Sabarimala, and many other esteemed guests.

The program was conducted by Shri Sandeep Sarda, and the meeting concluded with a collective recitation of the Pasayadan prayer.
