Polycab Builds Stronger Connections at Ganesh Utsav in Mumbai

Mumbai, August, 2025: As Mumbai comes alive with devotion and celebration during Ganesh Chaturthi, Polycab reinforces its commitment to building stronger connections with a series of customer-first, thoughtful installations at two of the city’s most iconic festive locations — Lalbaugcha Raja and Juhu Beach.

Recognizing the needs of devotees, Polycab has deepened its local connect by creating functional, people-centric spaces that prioritize comfort, safety, and accessibility. By tailoring its initiatives to the unique needs of Mumbai’s festive crowds, Polycab ensures its presence is rooted in community care and cultural relevance.

To make the darshan journey more seamless and comfortable, at Lalbaugcha Raja, Polycab has transformed a local bus stop into a ‘Comfort Zone’ along the darshan route, offering devotees a sheltered space to rest, recharge their mobile devices, and find respite from the heat and rain. Polycab has also installed Mobile Charging Stations for devotees and volunteers to stay connected at the pandal, Comfort Zone for Police Personnel, offering a dedicated space for those working tirelessly to ensure public safety, an Experiential Walkway Zone, equipped with Polycab fans, to enhance the darshan journey with a refreshing breeze.

At Juhu Beach, which is a key immersion sites, Polycab has installed branded Safety Watch Towers to help the authorities support crowd surveillance during the immersion. These efforts help strengthen Polycab’s connection with millions of devotees.

“Ganesh Chaturthi is a celebration of unity and devotion. With these installations, we aim to offer comfort and care to communities — going beyond products to build meaningful, people-first connections,” said Shwetal Basu, Senior Vice President, Brand & Marcom, Polycab India Ltd

Polycab’s festive engagement extends beyond Mumbai, with activations planned in Pune and Hyderabad. In Pune, the brand will create high-visibility presence through a branded gate installation and impactful banners at key pandals. In Hyderabad’s iconic Khairatabad Ganesh Pandal, devotees and frontline personnel will benefit from a digital LED arch and a branded police booth equipped with water and mobile charging facilities. These installations are designed to enhance the festive experience for lakhs of devotees, volunteers, and frontline personnel, reflecting Polycab’s belief that festivals are not just moments of celebration, but opportunities to serve communities meaningfully

This initiative builds on Polycab’s successful cultural engagements across India. From the Rath Yatra in Puri to Ganesh Chaturthi in Mumbai, Polycab continues to adapt to local traditions with people-first solutions — shaping festive experiences through comfort, care, and connection.
