The electrifying Zee Cafe Anime Fan Fest concluded its two-day extravaganza in Pune on December 7th & 8th leaving thousands of anime enthusiasts and cosplayers enthralled. Held at The KOPA, the event successfully cemented its place as a premier celebration of anime culture in India.
Building on the resounding success of its previous editions in Mumbai and Bengaluru, the Pune leg of the Anime Fan Fest drew a massive crowd of 7500 fans over 2 days, further solidifying the growing popularity of anime amongst Indian audiences. Over the weekend, the event pulsated with vibrant cosplay displays, electrifying musical performances, and engaging anime-themed activities.
Over 80 cosplay enthusiasts stole the spotlight at the event across both days, showcasing their passion and creativity. On December 7th, the crowd was treated to an electrifying performance by Arth, ranked among India’s top 10 beatboxers, who set an energetic tone for the evening.
The excitement continued on December 8th with Prithvi delivering a powerful rap performance of his original track on Zee Café Anime Fan Fest. The day’s highlight was the dynamic act by India’s first-ever cosplay band, Daisuki, who set the stage ablaze with their performance. Adding to the thrill, the Cosplay Competition brought together passionate participants embodying their favorite anime characters, captivating the audience with their dedication and artistry.
Beyond the cosplay, the Anime Fan Fest offered a multitude of experiences. Renowned emcee Mihir Joshi kept the energy high throughout the weekend, while attendees enjoyed an impressive lineup of music featuring rapper and musician Prithvi Mohan, DJ Ego, and Prakhar Gupta.
There were also anime-themed quizzes, games, and a wide selection of exclusive merchandise. Guests also had the chance to indulge in various culinary offerings and take home personalized souvenirs like caricatures and temporary tattoos.
