Gandharva Suranchi Shiledari’ became memorable!

Pune: The theater music concert ‘Gandharva Suranchi Shiledari’ organized under the cultural outreach program of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Infosys Foundation received a good response on 6th April.

This program was presented by the organization ‘Gandharvabhushan Jayaram Shiledar Sangeet Natya Seva Trust, Pune’ on the occasion of the anniversary of the organization ‘Marathi Rangbhoomi Pune’. Asmita Chinchalkar, Chinmoy Joglekar and Ninad Jadhav presented Bahardar Natya Padas.

Accompanied by Sanjay Gogte (Organ), Abhijit Zaide (Tabla). Varsha Joglekar gave a statement about the program. Dipti Shiledar-Bhogle was present on this occasion. The 75-year journey of the organization ‘Marathi Rangbhumi, Pune’ was witnessed in this concert.

Padmas from the popular dramas Saubhadra, Manapaman, Suvarantula were performed and the old golden age seemed to be visited by the lovers. In this program we got an opportunity to listen to rare plays.

The program started with Nandi from Shakuntal play.

‘Kon Tuj Sam Sang Maj Gururaya’ from the play Sangeet Saubhadra, ‘Mum Atma Gamala’ from the play Sangeet Swayamvar. Sangeet Shak Kallol, Madhura Bimba Dhara’ from Sangeet Sharda, ‘Walya Kolyacha Valmiki Jhala Kuthlya Punena’ from the play on the life of poet Anant Fandi, ‘Kathin Takish Kayi Purush Hridaya Bai’ from Sangeet Bhavbandhan, ‘Jai Shankar Pralayankar Gauri Har’ from Sangeet Mandodari.

‘Nay Mi Bolat Naatha’ Sangeet Swara Samragji’, ‘Dhir Dhari Bhamini’ from Sangeet Suvarna Tula, a pad from ‘Yayati Devyani’, ‘Abhang Patti Tu Pavna, Pavna’ were performed.

The program was concluded with Bhairavi, ‘Sapta Swarana Vibhramane Vissarlo Dehbhan’.

This program was held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 5:30 PM at Sardar Mahadev Balwant Natu Auditorium, (Senapati Bapat Road) of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. This program was free.

This was the 200th program presented under the cultural outreach program of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Infosys Foundation. Prof. Nand Kumar Kakirde, Honorary Secretary of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, introduced and felicitated the artists.
