Marathi Film to Address Rising Crime and Law-and-Order Concerns in Beed
Pune: Beed Files, an upcoming Marathi film that explores the rising crime rate, deteriorating law and order, and the growing sense of insecurity among ordinary citizens in Beed district, is set to hit the silver screen soon. The film is expected to draw particular attention for its portrayal of a character associated with social activist Tripti Desai and its focus on pressing social realities.
Produced under the banner of Dr. Doiphode Films, Beed Files will examine the social and systemic realities behind criminal incidents in Beed. The circumstances that contribute to crime, shortcomings within the system, and concerns surrounding the safety of ordinary citizens will form the core themes of the film.
The first poster of the film was recently unveiled, offering a glimpse into its serious and realistic subject matter. The social perspective presented with Tripti Desai at the centre is expected to add a distinctive edge to the film.
Dr. Shashikant Doiphode is the producer, while Shivraj Bangar is the co-producer. The film is directed by Ganesh Shinde. The names of the other members of the cast have not yet been revealed.
