In a major step towards cancer prevention and early detection, Manipal Hospital, Baner, has launched a Preventive Oncology Clinic on World Cancer Day. The clinic aims to empower individuals with timely screenings, lifestyle counseling, and risk assessment to detect cancer at an early stage and improve treatment outcomes. Aligned with this year’s theme, “United by Unique,” the initiative ensures personalized, technology-driven care tailored to each patient’s needs.
The clinic was inaugurated by Dr. Mukta Puntambekar, who highlighted the importance of early intervention in a cancer patient’s journey. Dr. Amit Parasnis, Dr. Lakhan Kashyap, and Dr. Karan Chanchlani provided key insights into advanced diagnostic techniques and preventive strategies.
