Time for a lasting change, Time for the Hindu Rashtra

On the occasion of the ‘Vaishvik Hindu Rashtra Mahotsav’ to be held in Goa from 24th to 30th June 2024.

Ab Ki Baar, Hindu Rashtra Ki Pukar !
Preface – These days, the term – ‘Hindu Rashtra’ has become well-known in India and abroad. However, not more than 15 years ago, speaking about it was considered highly controversial. Against this backdrop, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) was founded to establish the Hindu Rashtra. Subsequently, HJS and other Hindu organisations transformed this taboo into a universally accepted concept that gets discussed widely across India as well as abroad. It is a significant achievement of all organisations striving to protect Dharma and promote Hindu unity.

  1. Hindu Rashtra : A noble system based on ancient Vedic principles

Swami Vivekananda had once proclaimed, “For this Nation to survive, it must fully embrace the Hindu way of life.” Hindu Rashtra is not a narrow concept of a Nation exclusively for Hindus. It encompasses the culture, civilization, traditions, history, literature, art, and politics rather than being limited to a piece of land and its inhabitants. The concept of Hindu Rashtra is not a political theory; it represents a noble system based on the principles of Sanatan Vedic Dharma. Therefore, resistance to the idea of Hindu Rashtra is unwarranted.

     2. Anti ‘Hindu Rashtra’ narrative

Today, the opponents of the Hindu Rashtra mislead people with their propaganda based on various false narratives. The common theme includes questions such as – ‘Why on earth do you need the Hindu Rashtra when Pakistan – a State based on religion, is struggling to stand on its feet ?’, and ‘At a time when you are struggling with rising unemployment and poverty, why divert efforts to establish the Hindu Rashtra ?’. Despite more than 75 years of independence, India continues to grapple with issues such as rising unemployment, poverty, corruption, oppression of women, violence, etc. Is this not a sign of a failed governance system? No political leader can assure the citizens of this country that these issues will be resolved anytime soon. Despite Pakistan being broke, are its citizens protesting for the dissolution of their political system deeply rooted in Islam ? Or, should we (foolishly) say the rich Christian European Nations are anti-poor because they follow Christianity ? Therefore, what’s wrong with demanding ‘Hindu Rashtra’ as an antidote for all of these issues and transforming India into an ideal Nation ?

     3.’Ghazwa-e-Hind’ spreads wings

We are well aware of the various challenges for India and Hindus in particular, but the most severe of all is the threat of ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind.’ Many unsuspecting Hindus may not be familiar with this concept, but it represents a threat that looms over India as the calm before the storm. ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’ means the Islamic invasion of India. Love jihad, land jihad, and halal jihad are elements of this broader conspiracy against India. Unfortunately, many Hindus remain oblivious to this existential threat. Therefore, it is crucial to raise awareness among Hindus about this topic. The only antidote to ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’ is the ‘Hindu Rashtra’. Hence, it becomes imperative for Hindu organisations to impress upon Hindus the dire need to establish the Hindu Rashtra.

     4. Stop appeasement in the name of secularism !

The then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi took advantage of the Emergency in 1976 when she imprisoned the entire opposition, and added the words ‘Socialist’ and ‘Secular’ in the Preamble of the Constitution in what is called the 42nd Amendment. It led to the era of oppression of Hindus and appeasement of minorities (read Muslims). Such modification of the Constitution was a direct insult to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, the key architect of the Constitution of India; however, so-called liberals and secularists have remained silent on this grave issue. Make no mistake – these same liberals and secularists are the most potent force resisting the Hindu Rashtra. However, the silence of such hypocrites is deafening when it comes to ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’. Therefore, the Hindu organisations propose to replace ‘Socialist’ and ‘Secular’ with ‘Hindu Rashtra’ and ‘Spiritual’. The devout Hindus are fighting this case in Court.

     5. The path to establishing a Hindu Rashtra is not political !

The majority of a political party does not automatically translate into the establishment of the Hindu Rashtra. Similarly we have never stated that Hindu Rashtra would be established with the help of the current political system. We have always maintained that the Hindu Rashtra would be established by those who would sacrifice their body, mind, and wealth and selflessly and relentlessly strive for this noble cause. If 100 crore Hindus in India unanimously demand the establishment of Hindu Rashtra, it would be impossible to prevent this from becoming a reality. The day Hindus dissolve their caste identities and recognise their outright (overwhelming) majority and its political implications, the Hindu Rashtra will be established in no time.

     6. The Hindu Rashtra Convention : an effective medium to raise awareness about the Hindu Rashtra and unite Hindus across the globe

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) recently foiled a major conspiracy by the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the Popular Front of India (PFI) to transform India into an Islamic State by 2047. Against such a backdrop, it becomes imperative for this self-luminous Hindu land to regain its past glory and re-establish itself as the Hindu Rashtra – the beacon of hope for the world. Therefore, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) organises ‘All India Hindu Rashtra Conventions’ to bring various pro-Hindu organisations together for a common cause of the Hindu Rashtra and to raise awareness about this concept. The Hindu Rashtra would be deeply rooted in the eternal principles of Dharma.

This year marks the 12th edition of the ‘Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Rashtra Adhiveshan’, popularly known as the ‘Vaishvik Hindu Rashtra Mahotsav’. The convention will be held from 24th to 30th June 2024, at Shree Vidyadhiraj Auditorium of Shree Ramnath Devasthan in Ponda, Goa. The event will bring together more than one thousand representatives of 350 Hindu organizations, including Saints, Dharmacharyas, devout Hindu leaders, intellectuals, writers, former judges, senior advocates, former Government officials, and journalists from India and abroad. Many important topics like measures for the protection of Hindus, constitutional reforms and efforts for establishing Hindu Rashtra, strategies for preserving temple culture, protecting the sanctity of Hindu Dharma across the globe, measures to counter the Halal economy’s impact on the broader Indian economy, would be discussed in detail and the way forward would be finalised by the participants. It would serve as the guiding light throughout the year for every devout Hindu. The convention will be broadcast live on the YouTube, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter) accounts of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, as well as on their official website, www.hindujagruti.org.

  1. The Hindu Rashtra Convention: the success story
  1. More than 350 organizations in India have been actively engaged in various initiatives to protect and uphold the Nation and Dharma.
  1. Rashtriya Hindu Andolan established during these conventions organised more than 1776 protest events across India against attacks on the Nation and Dharma.
  1. The devout Hindu participants exposed and fought the corruption in several prominent temples such as Shree Tuljapur Temple Sansthan, Shree Mahalakshmi Temple in Kolhapur, Shree Vitthal Temple in Pandharpur, and Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan. Moreover, these conventions have helped foster unity amongst the temple trustees/administrators, and Mandir Mahasangh has been striving to free temples from the clutches of Government control in the states of Maharashtra, Goa, and Karnataka. So far, more than 14,000 temples have been involved in this noble initiative. These united efforts have helped the implementation of dress codes in 597 temples across Maharashtra and Karnataka.
  2. The devout Hindu participants organised many State-wide protest events in Maharashtra against the land encroachments on forts like Mahim and Lohagad which led to Government action to remove such encroachments and preserve India’s historical sites.                                                                                                                                                                                                                             The Hindu Rashtra: A guarantee of security and prosperity in the true sense

By now you must have realized the significance of ‘Ab Ki Baar, Hindu Rashtra Ki Pukar’ (Time for change, Time for the Hindu Rashtra). It requires breaking out of the narrow confines of ‘me and mine psychology’ and becoming active partners, not just passive witnesses of the Hindu Rashtra, that aims for the welfare of everyone and everything in this universe. The Hindu Rashtra ensures citizens a guarantee of security and prosperity.

Jayatu Jayatu Hindu Rashtram! (Long Live the Hindu Rashtra !)

– Mr Ramesh Shinde, National Spokesperson, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.
