Bharati F.C, AFA Samford, Puneri Warriors, Noisy Boys enter semifinals
Pune, 10th June 2022: Noisy Boys, Puneri Warriors, AFA Samford, Bharati FC booked their appointed spots in the semifinals of the Third Division Knock Outs in the PDFA League 2021-22 here on Friday.
At the SP College ground, Noisy Boys ride on a brace of goals by Om Patankar (38th, 49th) to end PCH Lions run.
Later, Piyush Kulkarni (46th, 51st) led Puneri Warriors past City FC Pune 2-0.
AFA Samford had Aman Madurai (13th) settle the issue against Loukik F.A 1-0.
The last spot was taken by Bharati F.C who had Karan Yadav (45th, 55th) log a double to pip Galactik Warriors 2-1. Pratik Hosmani (12th) pulled one back for the losers.
At SSPMS ground, Ghorpadi Tamil United and Giantz played out a 1-1 draw in a top-of-the-table Second Division Super-8 clash to remain level.
For Ghorpadi Tamil United Robin Pillay (30+1st) opened the day, while Giantz ‘A’ took just six minutes after the breather through Nikhil Shelar (36th) to level terms.
