12th April, Pune: Aspire F.C eves remained unbeaten and proved to be a force to reckon with en-route lifting the Infinity 2K24 Nine-A-Side title, conducted by Ness Wadia College of Commerce, at the Ness Wadia College ground recently.
In a dominant display throughout the tournament, Aspire FC, powered by Onward Technologies, got the better of Diego Juniors FCA 4-1 in the final encounter. Ritika Singh (2 goals) and Pooja Gupta (2 goals) scored for Aspire FC, while Shweta Malangave reduced the margin for the losers.
Aspire FC in the bargain remained unbeaten in the 5 matches they played in the tournament and scored a staggering 17 goals and conceded just one. A total of six players from Aspire FC contributed to the success.
Aspire FC began their campaign downing Diego Juniors FFC 1-0 with Samruddhi Katkole netting the winner. In Round-2, Aspire FC put aside Ashoka FC 9-0, before Receiving a walkover from Go Sports. In the semifinals Aspire got the better of Utkarsh Krida Manch ‘A’ 3-0.
Matches were played on a 20-minute per half basis and was open to all clubs
