Newly appointed office-bearers administered oath and presented appointment letters; all appointments made unanimously

Pune: With the objective of addressing the concerns of ordinary citizens through social service, the Deshseva Foundation has announced its new executive committee. The newly appointed office-bearers were administered an oath of office and confidentiality concerning the organisation’s functioning. Appointment letters were handed over to the new office-bearers by Foundation Founder-President Narendra Parkhe and Secretary Amol Hande.

The newly constituted executive committee includes Narendra Parkhe (Founder-President), Sharada Shelke (Vice-President), Amol Hande (Secretary), Sanjay Kaikade (Treasurer), Purva Hande (Member and Pune District Women’s President), Harsha Kaikade (Member and Pune City Women’s Vice-President), Omkar Parkhe (Member and Parvati Assembly Constituency President), Rajesh Mane (Pune City President), Surekha Mate (Pune City Women’s President), Asmita Parkhe (Women’s Coordinator), Bharat Shah (Maharashtra Coordinator), Pratik Gangane (Khadakwasla Assembly Constituency President), Neelam Kulkarni (Shivajinagar Assembly Constituency President), Vandana Kortikar (Kothrud Assembly Constituency President), Manjusha Avalkanthe (Pune Cantonment Assembly Constituency President), Dnyaneshwar Shinde (Vadgaon Sheri Assembly Constituency President), Sangeeta Shinde (Maval Assembly Constituency President), and Shivani Avalkanthe (Head of Media and Publicity).

Founder-President Narendra Parkhe announced that all the appointments had been made unanimously. The newly appointed office-bearers expressed their commitment to working honestly and responsibly in accordance with the Foundation’s objectives and policies.

The Foundation plans to undertake extensive initiatives in the areas of social welfare, women’s empowerment, youth development, assistance to needy citizens and other public-interest issues. A resolve was also expressed to expand the Foundation’s social activities across Pune and various parts of Maharashtra.

Speaking on the occasion, Founder-President Narendra Parkhe said that a position in the Foundation should not be viewed as a symbol of prestige but as a responsibility towards society.

“Every position in the Deshseva Foundation is not a matter of prestige, but a major responsibility towards social service. Our primary objective is to ensure that assistance and justice reach the most vulnerable sections of society, to work towards resolving the difficulties faced by those in need, and to implement public welfare initiatives effectively. Every office-bearer is the face of the Foundation and a link between the organisation and society. Therefore, everyone should work with honesty, transparency and a spirit of service.”

Foundation Secretary Amol Hande said that social transformation is possible through collective efforts and unity.

“The strength of the Deshseva Foundation lies in the unity of its office-bearers and workers. The present executive committee has been formed with a broad vision of bringing together different sections of society and working collectively. Every office-bearer should view their responsibility not merely as a position, but as a duty towards society. Through organised efforts, proper planning and continuous public service, we are committed to expanding the Foundation’s work across Maharashtra.”

The newly constituted team is expected to play a key role in strengthening the Foundation’s grassroots presence and taking its social welfare initiatives to a wider section of society.
