HDFC Securities has announced a new set of hybrid and remote work policies aimed at enhancing employee flexibility, improving work-life balance, and strengthening customer service delivery.

The move aligns with the evolving workplace landscape and follows recent announcements by Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraging progressive work practices across industries.

Effective June 1, 2026, all corporate and support functions at HDFC Securities — including Operations, Information Technology, Finance, Human Resources, Risk, Compliance, Legal & Secretarial, Research, and Marketing — will adopt a hybrid work model. Under the new arrangement, employees in these departments will work remotely for two days each week over an initial two-month period.

The company said the model will be reviewed after the trial phase based on operational needs and external conditions.

“Our vision is to lead by example in redefining the future of work by building a resilient, innovative, and employee-centric culture that drives excellence,” said Neetika Bhatia, Chief Human Resource Officer at HDFC Securities.

“The hybrid model exemplifies our unwavering commitment to empowering our employees, fostering agility, and delivering unparalleled service to our clients,” she added.

HDFC Securities also confirmed that its Engineering, Customer Experience, and Digital Account Opening teams will continue operating on a fully remote and location-agnostic basis. According to the company, this strategy enables access to a wider talent pool across the country while offering employees greater flexibility.

In another employee-focused initiative, the company had earlier implemented a full Saturday holiday policy across all branches effective April 1, 2026. Previously, branches operated on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays of each month.

The company stated that the transition was seamlessly executed without impacting customer service, supported by its 24/7 digital platforms and technology infrastructure.

HDFC Securities said the new work policies reinforce its long-term commitment to employee wellbeing, innovation, and customer-centric operations.

A subsidiary of HDFC Bank, HDFC Securities is among India’s leading stockbroking firms with nearly 26 years of experience in the equity market. The company serves around 6 million customers across more than 100 cities through a network of over 120 branches.

The firm offers a broad range of investment and trading solutions, including equities, mutual funds, bonds, currency derivatives, global investing, and retirement products. Its digital offerings include platforms such as InvestRight and HDFC SKY, alongside mobile applications and integrated trading solutions designed for retail and institutional investors.
