The Naveen Sujata Co-operative Housing Society, located in Bund Garden, Pune, celebrated its Golden Jubilee on 24th and 25th May 2025 with a series of vibrant and engaging events.
The celebrations began on Saturday with a devotional recital of the Sundarkand. This was followed by a felicitation ceremony honoring young students from the society who had achieved academic excellence. A cultural program featuring performances by members across all age groups highlighted the unity and enthusiasm within the community.
On Sunday, the event was compered by Mrs. Poornima Shinde. The program commenced with a melodious Ganesh Vandana by Shivesh and his daughter Swara. A heartfelt tribute was then paid to the late members of the society. The screening of an emotional short film titled “Down Memory Lane”, created by Ajit More, brought back cherished memories from the society’s journey.
The event was graced by the presence of renowned builders the Naiknavare and Chaudhary families, Mr. and Mrs. Wagasakar, Mr. Lakshminarayan, and architect Ravi Kadam. A special commemorative catalogue of the society was unveiled at the hands of Mr. Anand Naiknavare.
The celebrations concluded on a melodious note with a soulful orchestra performance by Prof. Shashank Divekar and his musical group.
Conceptualized and organized by Hutokshi Velinker and the Society’s Managing Committee, the Golden Jubilee celebration added a new chapter of pride and renewal to the illustrious journey of Naveen Sujata Co-operative Housing Society.
